I love cooking, everything to do with the kitchen I really love. It's probably my, my truest passion. I, I do, I adore it. I've been cooking on my own for fun for about five years. I'm nineteen. I've worked in in a professional, semiprofessional resort kitchen for two years. Wonderful people there. Really enjoyed that job. We cook for 900 people, serving three meals a day. It was a lot of fun. You got to take that, you got to take recipes you found. They have to be affordable and they have to be scaled up times, you know, 200, 300, 400 people.
I really like desserts. They're easy to make and they keep for longer than a night’s meal do. So I’ve made dozens of new cheesecakes, pies, danishes, pastries, and I've, I’ve enjoyed that greatly. I love working in the kitchen. I love cooking, crafting food, serving food. I love the equipment that we get to work with in the kitchen. I'm always on the lookout for new, new gadgets and new culinary equipment, and especially like blades. I love cutlery, that's the proper word for it. But I love finding good and sturdy cutlery for affordable prices. Because you can get really good chef knives for like $180. But I don't want to spend $180 on one knife. So it's nice finding brands that work for you, that work, are reliable, and that are relatively easy to get. You can get from Walmart or Amazon, and then that perform well on a small home cook scale, but also as well on the large kitchen scale.
A little bit. A few comments of, you’d make somebody a good wife or, you know. In a derogatory way, like, you know? It's never bothered me. I've, I’ve really never been bothered by people's comments about me because I just don't see why their their opinion should have any value in my life. Especially for something like this. Like, I'm very passionate about it. And somebody can make fun of me for it all day long, and I'm just going to ignore them, because at the end of the day, I'm doing something that makes me happy, I'm going to enjoy, and is a skill that everybody should know, and is a skill I'll continue to develop my whole life.
